Co-founder of the Millennium Chamber Symphony in New York, Anna Maria Manalo is a pianist, violinist, and composer. Committed to enhancing the expressive skills of people with special needs and the socially stigmatized, Manalo facilitates learning and self-discovery of one’s potential through music. She previously served on the faculty of the Braille Tone Music Society of Canada, working with adults with co-exceptionalities to blindness (such as PTSD, developmental delay, and brain injury). She currently works with Denver-based learning-challenged students and women in homeless shelters. In New York, she directs the Music and Healing series at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
