Jerome Jennings

Jerome Jennings in a New York based drummer, composer, bandleader, and educator who has worked or appeared with Sonny Rollins, Hank Jones, Wynton Marsalis, The Count Basie Orchestra, and Dee Dee Bridgewater, among others. His 2016 debut recording, The Beast (2016) received accolades from NPR and DownBeat Magazine, as well as a French Grand Prix du Disque nomination. His sophomore album, Solidarity was released in 2019. Jerome graduated from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts and earned an M.M. from The Juilliard School, where he currently serves as Resident Director of The Juilliard Jazz Orchestra.
