Kee-Hyun Kim

Parker Quartet

A native of Seoul, Korea, cellist Kee-Hyun Kim is a founding member of the Parker Quartet, which won First Prize at the Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition and the Concert Artists Guild Competition both in 2005; CMA’s Cleveland Quartet Award in 2009; and a 2010 Grammy Award for Best Chamber Music Performance. Kim is currently on the faculty of Harvard University’s Department of Music, where the quartet was appointed Blodgett Artists-in-Residence in 2014. Outside of the Quartet, he has participated in many prestigious festivals, including the Mostly Mozart Festival, the Kronberg Cello Masterclasses and Festival, the World Cello Congress III, the Aspen Music Festival, Yellow Barn, and the Perlman Music Program, among others.
