Tina Davidson

Composer Tina Davidson is acclaimed for her “vivid ear for harmony and colors” (The New York Times) and works of “transfigured beauty” (OperaNews). Winner of a PEW Fellowship, Davidson has been commissioned and performed by Hilary Hahn, Kronos Quartet, Cassatt Quartet, VocalEssence, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and National Symphony, among many others. Dedicated to community outreach, Davidson has taught at-risk youth how to compose, worked with homeless women to write operas of their lives, and created music designed to include children in professional performances.
