Biography
After its inception in 2006 in New York (and later the Paris Conservatory), the Zodiac Trio gained recognition after sweeping victories on the international competition circuit. Today, the ensemble is widely acknowledged as one of the leading clarinet-violin-piano trios, presenting a wide variety of repertoire from masterworks for its instrumentation to arrangements and new works. Recognized for performances marked with unbridled enthusiasm, virtuosity, and infectious enjoyment, the Zodiac Trio has performed across the globe in some of the world’s top venues. Notable performances include the Beijing Center for the Performing Arts, Izumi Hall, Festival Radio France Montpelier, Edinburgh Festival, Lincoln Center and Ottawa Chamberfest. The Zodiac Trio has been featured on Radio France, Italy’s RAI 3, Beijing’s CCTV, most major American radio stations, and CBC Radio and Television (Canada). In 2013, the ensemble launched a summer chamber music academy in France: The Zodiac Music Academy & Festival.
