Annual Membership Meeting

All conference registrants are invited to attend CMA’s annual membership meeting. Mary Anne Carter, chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, will give remarks at the meeting.

Opening Reception

Perfect Pitch Sessions
Saturday, January 18, 2020 | 12:00-1:00 PM | Broadway Ballroom, 3rd Floor
Perfect Pitch Sessions offer young and emerging musicians the chance to practice their pitch in a series of short one-on-one conversations with leading managers and presenters. Learn firsthand how to refine your presentation to succeed in the industry decision-making processes that lead to artistic opportunities. Participants will give a 3-4 minute pitch and receive 4-5 minutes of feedback before moving along to the next industry expert. Initiate important long-term professional connections and receive invaluable insider insights—all in one hour or less.

Saturday Night Soirée
Saturday, January 18, 2020 | 7:00-9:00 PM | Broadway Ballroom, 3rd Floor | $50
Join CMA for an evening of music and celebration at the fourth annual Saturday Night Soirée. Connect with colleagues from around the country, enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks, and applaud as CMA presents its 2020 Visionary Award to Samora Pinderhughes. Music will be provided by Jonathan Michel: L’Ouverture. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
